Exterior Design

The exterior design of Zeepaard is defined by its cream hull and bright white superstructure, providing a classic and elegant appearance. This yacht, built with an aluminium hull and superstructure complemented by teak decks, features a flared, bulbous bow that enhances performance at sea.

Her three-deck configuration allows for a spacious layout, accommodating various amenities and leisure activities. The deck spaces are designed with versatility in mind, catering to both relaxation and storage needs for tenders and water toys. For those who enjoy alfresco dining, Zeepaard offers multiple seating arrangements, alongside ample space for sunbathing and socializing.

One of the yacht's notable exterior features is the crow's nest, offering guests panoramic views of the surrounding seascape. Additionally, the hydraulic aft door serves a dual purpose, facilitating easy access to tenders while transforming into a swimming platform when lowered, further extending the leisure capabilities of the yacht.

Zeepaard offers a cream hull, three leisure-optimized decks, and luxurious accommodations for 10 guests, ideal for extended, trans-oceanic journeys with a range of 7,000 nautical miles.

Interior Design

The interior decor incorporates mahogany paneling, teak, and warm cherry wood, creating a cohesive and stylish environment. These woods are complemented by soft furnishings that add a layer of comfort and warmth to the yacht's interior spaces.

Lighting within Zeepaard is carefully considered to enhance the natural beauty of the woodwork and to create the right atmosphere for every occasion. Whether it's a brightly lit environment for social gatherings or subdued lighting for a more intimate setting, the lighting system is versatile and functional.

The dining areas on Zeepaard are designed to accommodate various dining experiences. The sky lounge offers large windows, providing panoramic views that guests can enjoy while dining at the interior table. This setting is ideal for enjoying meals in a light-filled space with a view. The choice of seating for alfresco dining on deck allows for meals to be enjoyed in the open air, making the most of the yacht's surroundings.

The helm is equipped with a centrally placed captain's chair, which is surrounded by multiple electronic displays. This setup ensures that the captain has an excellent vantage point and easy access to all necessary navigation and control systems.

The galley is well-equipped, featuring stainless steel and black-speckled stone countertops that provide a durable and stylish work surface. It is fitted with Miele appliances and an icemaker, ensuring that meal preparation is both convenient and up to the standards expected in a luxury setting.

Zeepaard is equipped to accommodate up to 10 guests in five suites across her expansive three-deck layout. The yacht features a full-beam master suite, which is a highlight of the guest accommodations. This suite is outfitted with a king-size bed and is connected to an ensuite bathroom that leads to a private owner’s spa area, complete with amenities such as a hammam, Jacuzzi, and sauna, ensuring a private and luxurious experience for the owner.

In addition to the master suite, Zeepaard houses four guest staterooms. Each of these staterooms is furnished with a double bed and features large ensuite bathrooms equipped with showers. For entertainment, individual systems are installed in each cabin, catering to the personal leisure needs of guests.

The careful arrangement of the guest and owner's accommodations towards the aft of the lower deck allows for an intuitive separation from the crew quarters, which are located at the front. The yacht provides generous crew accommodation, including private cabins for the captain and engineer, alongside two additional crew cabins accommodating a total of eight.

Performance & Capabilities

Zeepaard is engineered for performance, stability, and fuel efficiency, qualities that contribute to her noteworthy trans-Pacific range. This vessel is powered by two Caterpillar engines (3406 E Di TA 475 BHP), each producing 475 horsepower.

The yacht's cruising speed is approximately 11 knots, with the ability to reach speeds up to 13 knots. This speed range, combined with a substantial fuel capacity of 54,000 liters, enables Zeepaard to achieve an impressive range of 7,000 nautical miles at a steady 8 knots. This extended range makes her an ideal choice for long voyages and trans-oceanic adventures.

In terms of stabilization and maneuverability, Zeepaard is equipped with at-anchor stabilizers, ensuring guest comfort even in rough sea conditions. Additionally, the installation of a Cramm 100 HP bow thruster enhances her agility, making docking and navigating through tight spaces more manageable.

The yacht also boasts an advanced water management system, with two HEM watermakers capable of producing a total of 1200 liters per hour, ensuring an ample supply of fresh water during extended voyages. The water treatment system onboard is a HAMANN MINIM frame, highlighting the yacht's commitment to environmental responsibility and the well-being of its guests.

For power redundancy and reliability, Zeepaard is equipped with three Onan Silent Line generators, two rated at 65 kW and one auxiliary generator at 35 kW. This setup ensures that all onboard systems remain operational, even in the unlikely event of a primary generator failure.
