Hatteras 38 Convertible Yacht Mk1, 1968 - 1972

The 38 Convertible is a flybridge boat from American builder Hatteras. Constructed from fibreglass, the 38 Convertible has a hull design.

From The Manufacturer

This 38-foot Hatteras Convertible would be a fine yacht to have at your dock.

It provides you with more spaciousness and comforts than many 40 footers. It can serve a dual purpose as it can be used for comfortable cruising or you can equip it with fishing gear ( as shown on the back cover of this folder), so that any ardent deep sea angler can enjoy the sport and fun of catching the big ones out in the deep.

Measurements prove that the fiberglass Hatteras has more usable space than comparable models of wood boats.

That's because Hatteras molded fiberglass construction eliminates beams, ribs and frames. There's more space for living and storage.

Cabinet work is carefully selected mahogany, crafted by master furniture-makers at High Point, North Carolina the furniture center.

The functional areas of each Hatteras - entertainment centers, galleys, staterooms, head, control stations - are skillfully planned and more fully equipped than usual.
