The 42m was built in the Netherlands by Heesen with a multi-award winning international design team, interior and exterior styling by Omega Architects from the Netherlands. The 42.4m/139'1" superyacht built from steel can sleep up to ten guests in five cabins. She was available with only one option for inboard engines.
First announced to the press in 2012 she went into development in 2014 and the first model rolled off the production line later the same year. She was a finalist in 2015 in the 'Displacement Motor Yachts of below 500GT – 30m to 42.99m' category at The World Superyacht Awards.
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 12 knots via her twin 1,450hp MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines. In terms of range, the Heesen 42m has a standard range of 3,250 nautical miles (nm).
