Baglietto has started the build of its first 52M T Line motor yacht, with the laying of her keel just before Christmas.
The 52m (171ft) superyacht, also known as Hull 10238, is the first of the Italian yard’s redesigned T Line and will feature a restyled stern featuring a tiered open beach club.
Francesco Paszkowski Design, who is responsible for the design, has created a light and airy feeling with the saloon featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing and an upper deck skylounge that can be opened on three sides.
The three-level beach club has a large concealable pool and a retractable stairway that connects the foredeck sunning and lounging area to the sundeck, with the aim of prompting free-flowing movement between the spaces.
Hull 10238 is also equipped with a hybrid propulsion system that Baglietto estimate will give her a range of 3,600nm, and a top speed of 17 knots, in all-diesel mode and a range of 7,600nm in electrical diesel mode.
Her new Owner watched the keel laying ceremony via a live video link. She is one of two 52m T-Line yachts being built at the Italian yard with a 2023 delivery date, and one of nine projects currently in build for Baglietto across its two facilities in La Spezia and Carrara.
