Compact LeVen superyacht to debut at FLIBS

Expected to launch on the 24th of September 2019, the first hull of the 27 metre LeVen model is preparing to make her debut at the biggest in water yacht show in the world. Running from 30th October until 3rd November, the diamond anniversary show of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will showcase the exciting US debut among many others during the exciting festivities.

Collaborated between the Fort Lauderdale-based shipyard YachtCreators and esteemed industry member Lucas Silva, LeVen is a new Dutch range of compact superyachts to be engineered and designed by Vripack.

Powered by a pair of MTU 12V 2000 engines, the all new vessel constructed by Van der Valk in the Netherlands can reach top speeds of 26 knots with a range of 400 nautical miles.

Ideal for exploring a group of islands like the Exumas in the Bahamas, the hull features a shallow draft of only 1.37m allowing close up luxury exploration of each new destination. The construction is made of renewable aluminium and it is the first yacht to feature the Voith Linear Jet propulsion system.

This specialist propulsion system is specifically designed to protect the propellers in the shallow waters the vessel will be venturing in to.

For families like mine, boating in the Exumas means navigating shallow waters accessible only with a smaller boat. When we arrive, we want the benefits of a superyacht, such as the comfort and the fun… jet skiing, paddleboarding, spearfishing, scuba diving, etc. That’s real living!

Yacht Owner and Entrepreneur

Drawing on his own experience in the industry, Silva has designed a unique sports deck and transformer platform which has the ability to store a 4.5 metre tender plus a selection of water toys like paddleboards and jet skis.

In addition to the specially designed sports facilities, guests onboard can make the most of the stunning surrounding views on the 650m² sundeck. Ideal for evening drinks and casual afternoons, the spacious sun deck has plenty of comfortable seating and a fully equipped bar. Sessions of sunbathing can also be endured with a roomy sheltered sunpad on the foredeck.

A total of eight guests can be accommodated at any one time for overnight stays onboard the 27 metre vessel. A selection of four en suite cabins are all located on the lower deck with a spacious owner's suite located amidships.

A VIP stateroom is situated forward and a further twin and queen cabin are positioned in between the larger two cabins.
