CRN Project Maranello moves to Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard ahead of outfitting

Italian shipyard CRN has been spotted moving the current inbuild Project Maranello to the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy, as she progresses to her outfitting stages of construction.

Also known as M/Y 143, the 67m (220ft) superyacht is said to closely reflect the owner's personality, which has been worked into the very essence of the build, from its tight aerodynamic lines to its overall sense of effortless style.

Originally announced in October 2021, the owner of PROJECT MARANELLO is represented by Moran Yacht & Ship, who has been working closely alongside the owner and the shipyard as the build has progressed.

Now settling in for outfitting stages, the superyacht will now undertake a huge transformation from her bare hull with painting, carpentry, and the integration of machinery, on-board systems, and equipment all set to take place within the forthcoming months, ahead of interior furnishing and, of course, sea trials.

Working in collaboration with the Venetian designer Nuvolari Lenard, the superyacht is the eighth collaborative project between CRN and the design firm. With previous superyachts including 62m (203ft) VOICE, which won at the World Yachts Trophies, and 71m (236ft) AZTECA, which picked up a total of four award nominations.

Constructed for an owner who has shared specifications that tie in with safeguarding the natural environment, the ongoing commitment to sustainability and eco-awareness within the yachting industry is said to be reflected in the design of Project Maranello.

Powered by a hybrid propulsion system and other innovations that expand the fuel efficiency of the superyacht and minimize the impact on the surrounding marine terrains.

Featuring a total of five decks, the interior details of Project Maranello are yet to be confirmed, however, the shipyard has revealed that there will be overnight accommodation for up to 14 guests plus 17 crew.

In addition to Project Maranello, CRN has another two full-custom yachts being constructed at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, which are the CRN 144 with an LOA of 85m (278.8ft) and the CRN 145 which measures up at 70m (229.6ft).
