Damen Yachting has unveiled first-look renders of its SeaXplorer 58, a custom explorer yacht set to be delivered in 2022.
Built for an experienced Owner, the 58m (190ft) yacht offers the best of both worlds. It combines facilities geared towards outdoor living, such as a luxury cabana-style outdoor lounge and bar and infinity-edged pool with an Ice Class hull and ocean-going autonomy for up to 30 days.
The explorer theme is taken even further with the SeaXplorer 58 carrying a custom 11.4m (37.4ft) performance sailboat, two large multi-role tenders and a wide range of toys, as well as a certified helideck. She also has space for road and off-road vehicles and motorcycles.
The Upper Deck features an open skylounge and dining space with concertina-opening glass partitions to a Jazuzzi and further below the signature SeaXplorer bow observation lounge can be found.
Chilled garbage stores and waste water tanks ensure sustainable operations in zero-discharge zones of natural beauty and a premium synthetic teak deck is a further eco-friendly measure.
Exterior design comes from Azure Naval Architects, with the Owner’s chosen interior designer Design Unlimited creating what Damen Yachting call “a very personal and intriguing interior design that celebrates the spirit of exploration”. She features six suites for 12 guests, with further accommodation for 17 crew members.
With the hull already in build, Damen Yachting was able to offer a quicker delivery time than usual for yachts for sale of this size, she is expected to be with her Owner by next year.
The SeaXplorer 58 will be the third yacht delivered from the SeaXplorer range, a series of purpose-built, long-range explorer yachts that are designed to be fully autonomous for long periods. The first delivery, 62m (203ft) ANAWA, was handed to her Owners last summer, with the second, 77m (253ft) 'La Datcha' delivered a few months later in November 2020.
As is shown by its SeaExplorer range, Damen Yachting has a reputation for building large yachts. The 18 yachts it has delivered in the last decade have an average length of 58.8m. A further five yachts are set to be delivered over the next three years and they range in size from 55.51m (182ft) to 76.9m (252ft).
