Scheduled to run between 8-13 September 2020, the Cannes Yachting Festival will showcase the latest yachts for sale from the Italian shipbuilding group with La Croissette adorning the glistening backdrop of Cannes.
As one of the few yachting events in 2020 not to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Cannes Yachting Festival stands tall as it prepares for not one, but three Ferretti global debuts.
Covering Vieux Port and Port Canto, the 43rd edition expects an attendance of 420 boats over both locations, continuing the new layout which made its debut in 2019.
Displaying their yachts in Vieux Port, the Ferretti Group will be hosting a total of five debuts including the European debut of the outboard 48Wallytender X and the in-water premiere of the Pershing 7X.
However, the main highlights of the Ferretti Group lineup are set to be the global premieres of the 43Wallytender, Ferretti Yachts 500 and Riva 88 Folgore.
Riva 88 Folgore
Inspired by the automotive industry and filled with innovative solutions, the Riva 88 Folgore is one of the headline appearances from the Italian shipyard.
Designed in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design, the carbon fibre sportfly yacht features a glass hardtop which can open two ways, tilting towards either the bow or stern.
A new stern design is also incorporated with a garage door which can lay horizantally, providing a six square metre beach club area or a submersed tender launch pad.
With a selection of three layouts available for the Riva motoryacht, interiors are dominated by a combination of wood, steel, marble and glass.
Ferretti Yachts 500
Also set for her global debut, the Ferretti Yachts 500 joins the fleet of Ferretti yachts for sale as the smallest yacht for the shipyard so far.
Collaborated on with Filippo Salvetti for the exteriors and Ideaitalia on the interiors, the Ferretti Yachts 500 features multiple relaxation areas around the exteriors and has Mediterranean inspired colour schemes.
43Wallytender
Offering a brand new design concept just a year after the debut of the 48Wallytender, the 13m (43') 43Wallytender is set to amaze owners in a range of different colour options, including Gator Green as pictured.
Suitable as a tender or day cruiser, the 43Wallytender has a capacity for up to 12 guests and features a new central cockpit layout.
48Wallytender X & Pershing 7X
Making it's European debut, the 48Wallytender X is appearing at Cannes just one year after the previous 48Wallytender model made its global premiere at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Making it's global debut at the Miami Yacht Show in February 2020, the 48Wallytender X is Wally's answer to a fast and efficient tender to accompany superyachts. Fitted with four outboard engines totalling 1,800hp, the 14.6m (48') tender for sale offers top speeds of 55 knots.
Displaying alongside the 48Wallytender X, the Pershing 7X will be making her in-water debut at the 2020 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Powered by twin Man V12 diesel engines at a total of 3,600hp, the 21m (69') Pershing 7X is the fastest Generation X Pershing yacht for sale.
If you're planning to buy a yacht during the Cannes Yachting Festival, start the process early by comparing all the available yachts for sale before the event begins.
