ISA Yachts has revealed renderings of a new 40m (131ft) superyacht called project UNICA, a semi-displacement and full-aluminum vessel with a draft of 2.2m (7ft), ensuring it can cruise in shallower areas.
The builder's latest vessel is a collaboration between Designer Enrico Gobbi of TEAM for Design and the technical department of Palumbo Superyachts. Drawing from an analysis of current market offerings in innovation, design, functional solutions, and volume optimization, the project introduces its own unique trends and aims to set new standards within the yachting sector.
Key competitive advantages include highly functional spaces and generous volumes compared to competing models. Notable features include extended exterior decks and expansive windows. Furthermore, the exterior of the UNICA balances empty and full spaces, enhancing its natural dynamism.
The design prioritizes clear views for guests, fostering a "visual connectivity" throughout the vessel. The stern is also spread over three levels, featuring a sunbathing area, swimming pool, and an infinity cockpit.
Moving inside, the UNICA's interiors prioritize comfort and functionality, with the owner's area boasting an office, lounge, walk-in wardrobe, and a bathroom with two sinks. Large side windows flood the cabin with natural light, enhancing the feeling of space.
Dining options include formal and casual areas, both equipped with living and relaxation spaces. The upper deck features a spacious bow surface for entertainment. Heading to the fly deck, there are sunbathing areas, a lounge, a dining table, a bar, and a round Jacuzzi. Below deck, guests are accommodated across four cabins, with additional space for seven crew members to stay onboard.
The propulsion system consists of two MTU engines, each with 1432kW, enabling speeds of up to 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, with a range of 3300nm at 14.5 knots.
