Scheduled to start launching onto the water as early as 2023, the Ocean 156 and Ocean 182 - the model names referring to the yachts Gross Tonnage - offer exciting innovative concepts to separate them from their sister ship, the Sunseeker 90 Ocean.
As part of the newly announced 12-model program, Sunseeker will extend the range to 30 models in total, with launches taking place all the way up to 2025.
With £40 million going into the project there are certainly going to be some incredible yachts heading our way. But for starters, Sunseeker unveiled the first two yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Sunseeker Ocean 182
The largest of the two models to be unveiled, and scheduled to be launched in 2023, the Sunseeker Ocean 182 measures up at 27m (88.8ft) and 182GT.
On first appearances, it is evident there's a key difference between the Ocean 182 and its sister ship the 90 Ocean, as there's an enclosed flybridge.
Almost entirely made of glazing, there's some staggering views to be seen from the comfort of the yacht interior but with a planned sunbathing area aft with what looks like enough space for up to four sun loungers.
Another bonus is the allocation of just the one helm station being located on the flybridge. Though seemingly unusual as there's no second helm station onboard, the plan here is to open out the main deck for Owners and their guests to make the most of the entire yacht.
The open-plan main deck profers an environment usually seen on larger yachts with ample space for mixing with guests onboard throughout.
The galley and dining area are located forward, with the dining table being nearly surrounded by large windows and a separate crew entrance maintains optimal privacy.
For guests who want to enjoy the sun, the Sunseeker Ocean 182 also has the Sunseeker X-TEND sun lounger system integrated, enabling guests to face aft at the lowered position or be elevated to face forward.
Sunseeker Ocean 156
Boasting many of the same attributes as the larger model, the Sunseeker Ocean 156 also features the new flybridge concept with extensive glazing and a tilting sunroof for more natural daylight.
The single helm station also makes an appearance to open up the main deck, but instead of the entire flybridge being enclosed, there's a large exterior deck area forward of the wheelhouse.
A prominent feature of the main deck is 360-degree views with full-height glazing all around, plus Owners have the opportunity to choose from multiple layouts depending on their requirements.
The abundant daylight and extensive glazing give the interior a penthouse feel, complete with a host of modern innovations to make the most of the extended social space.
Capable of accommodating up to eight guests, the forecast top speed of the Ocean 156 is 23 knots.
