Vicem Yachts arrived at FLIBS 2017 with a classic treat for both retro and modern owners with the return of its popular V58 model.
Making its initial appearance in 2010, the classic V58 from the Turkish shipyard returns to the dockyard with a brand new 2018 edition with an optional flybridge version. Maintaining some of the original characteristics like levelled interiors and a cold molded construction, the comeback for the V58 already has a promising future for long distance cruising. With speeds reaching 29 knots and an optional bow-thruster, the V58 not only makes its way through the waves, but it makes maneouvring busy marinas easy.
Strategically placed sliding windows and L shaped settees provide a clever use of space onboard, giving an open feel to the cockpit and lounge areas. Accompanied by a comfortably sized passageway to the bathing deck there is plenty of room to entertain day guests or hold non confining cocktail evenings.
Long distance travel with the V58 2018 edition is comfortable and home like with a galley complete with a microwave, refridgerator, freezer and an electric cooker. The additional cubby hole for a washing machine completes the home essentials design with other additional extras including the installation of an ice maker.
Entertainment during a long cruise comes with a 40" wide TV as standard and the latest systems installed for optimum enjoyment. Instrumentation is top of the range with spacious windows surrounding the area, providing staggering views and impeccable light as owners enjoy their favourite film or playlist.
Traditional Turkish methods of cold molding create a lighter than usual hull for the V58, allowing for a top rate speed in addition to an impressive 25 knot cruising speed.
The lightweight model hasn't influenced a lack of luxury interiors, as the V58 boasts queen size beds, stunning mahogany fittings, fully fitted entertainment systems in each of the three cabins plus two bathrooms, suitable for up to six guests.
