Based on a semi-displacement hull design and built to CE Class A (open ocean) classification, the 640 will have an optimum cruising range of 1000nm at economical 10 knots cruising speed.
Avoiding the inconvenience of regular refueling stops, a circumnavigation from Antibes to Sardinia, for example, or the Amalfi coastline, without interruption, is completely feasible. An even greater range of up to 1400 nm, can be achieved at a displacement speed of up to 8 knots.
Design innovation continues on the flybridge with the new Bridge Viewdeck, never seen on long-range yachts of this size before. This is an extra deck area created ahead of the helm station, fully accessible and with seating for two. Clear glass surrounds ensure full protection from the wind, while offering a 180-degree panoramic view over the foredeck and to the ocean horizon. The unobstructed view of both sky and sea became the inspiration for this model's name, Azure.
