On Deck
Starting aft, there's a beach club, engine access, and crew quarters. The aft deck is a sociable space with a rising TV and a dining area just forward.
Moving up, the upper deck has been fully enclosed to create a cinema zone with a rising TV and overhead skylights. There are quiet corners for intimate conversation and a barbecue setup with another dining area. This deck feels tucked away, ideal for private meals whether moored or at anchor. Windshield covers prevent sun damage, but normally the view out would be clear. The normal guest route to the upper deck is via side steps, not through the bridge.
At the bow, there's a massive hot tub, surrounded by lounging and sunbathing areas. Forward of that are twin anchor windlasses and bollards. Wing stations are positioned on both sides for manoeuvring, and multiple access points mean you can navigate between areas without retracing your steps.
Interior Accommodation
Inside, the yacht feels like a high-performance coupé in superyacht form. While not as voluminous as other yachts of its length, it still has generous space. Interior finishes are finely detailed, from lighting features to polished wood and plush chairs. On the main deck is the indoor dining area and a discreetly placed day head. There’s a server room filled with AV equipment and control systems - a “geek out” zone with amplifiers and servers.
The galley includes a wine cooler, ovens, hobs, extractor fans, fridges, and a dishwasher. Forward is a pantry and further crew access. The bridge sits above, equipped with twin throttles (for the four engines), full navigation displays, and linked autopilot systems. Doors to each side allow direct exterior access.
The enclosed upper deck cinema room features skylights, TV, and intimate seating areas. It’s an elegant, peaceful retreat. Below, the beach club expands the lounging space further with a rising TV, additional side platforms, a small TV area, and its own day heads. When anchored, this area stays sheltered thanks to head-to-wind positioning. The transom folds down to bring you right to the waterline.
Owner's Cabin
The owner’s suite begins with a vast walk-in wardrobe—large enough to be considered a cabin in its own right. The suite smells pleasant too, thanks to carefully placed scent features. A drop-down balcony adds a dramatic element. With the push of a button, part of the wall folds down, and a stainless-steel section transforms into a handrail.
The main cabin itself is palatial, finished in polished wood and luxurious surfaces. Bedside lighting, soft furnishings, and refined touches continue the theme. There’s a dressing table and chairs, creating a space that feels lived in and private.
The ensuite is large and marble-clad, with twin sinks and a rainfall shower in the centre, separate wand shower, and a drain design that channels water beneath the marble lip.
Guest Accommodation
The guest cabins sit on the lower deck and begin past a dividing door, with a staircase separating guest and staff areas. Each guest cabin is nicely appointed with pullman berths, designed for friends and family. All rooms have en suites with rainfall showers, wardrobes, and built-in drawers.
Further aft, two VIP guest cabins are larger still, both doubles. Lighting is artfully inset, and storage includes wardrobes, drawers under the bed, and shelving. Their en suites are more generous and tucked away, keeping the layout clean. The whole area is impressively quiet - no hum of generators or air conditioning.
Crew Accommodation
Just before the guest cabins, two compact but smart staff cabins serve nannies, security personnel, or PAs. They're finished to guest standards. Further forward, the crew areas include a mess space, laundry, and multiple cabins including the captain’s quarters, all en suite. More refrigeration and a secondary dishwasher are found here too.
Performance
The engine room includes a dedicated control space and houses four MTU 16V2000M96 engines, each with 16 cylinders. These deliver speeds of up to 30 knots when lightly loaded and around 28 knots when fully loaded. At a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht has a range of 4,000 nautical miles, which is enough for a transatlantic run.
The space is immaculately kept. Generators, water makers, air conditioning units, pumps, and tool chests are all laid out with precision. Ventilation fans and ducting handle the demands of running at speed, while the control systems are extensive and clearly built for a yacht with serious performance credentials.
In Summary
Goldeneye is a fast, sharply styled 54m yacht with a sports coupé character. While not the most voluminous in her class, she uses her layout well, with a clear separation between guest, staff, and crew areas. Movement around the boat is fluid, with multiple discreet access routes, so guests aren’t brushing past crew - another mark of good planning.
She’s also notably quiet. There’s little to no hum from generators or air conditioning, which makes a real difference to the onboard atmosphere, especially in the guest cabins. Even at an exclusive yacht show, surrounded by the best of the best, this yacht stands out not just for her looks but for the way she’s been designed.
