On Deck

The size and space of the Sealine C530 is impressive. Despite being a 53-foot boat, it is wide, tall, and voluminous, giving it a spacious feel. The tour begins on the stern, stepping onto the hi-lo bathing platform that can lift a 400-kilogram tender. This platform also features steps that angle into the water as it lowers, an appreciated touch.

The design features on deck are appreciated, such as the walkway through the overhang sections, which give the yacht a super yacht vibe. There is a big sliding roof section that can be completely open, providing the choice between shade or open air. There is an adaptable backrest that can be powered down to form a sunbathing area, and a table that can fold out for dining or tilt upwards for engine access. Also featured in the cockpit is a barbecue.

At the bow, there are deck lockers, a large opening roof section, and a telescopic table that can be made into a large sunbathing area.

Interior

Inside, there are wide doors, a high gloss walnut finish, and a galley aft layout that caters straight out to the cockpit. There are various storage spaces here, with air conditioning and heating systems. The boat's spaciousness and large windows that drop virtually to the floor make it feel open and expansive.

The massive sliding roof section is unique to the coupé version, as well as the TV that rises out of the furniture and swivels for viewing from different areas. The helm features a double seat, side access door and two large screens. Featured here is a camera that provides a view of the bathing platform, which is useful when berthing the boat.

The tour continues to the guest VIP cabin, which has large hull windows and plenty of storage. Showcased are the programmable light switches and feature panel behind the bed. There is an ensuite toilet and shower cubicle with an opening porthole for ventilation. Moving to the twin cabin and finally the owners' cabin, which boasts plenty of storage, a seating area, and full standing headroom.

Crew Accommodation

Also shown is the small occasional crew cabin accessed aft, which can also be used as storage space.

Performance

The engine room  houses two Volvo Penta D8 IPS-700 engines capable of reaching speeds of about 31 knots and cruising at about 25 knots, with a range of around 300 nm. There is also a generator and various electrical systems.

In Summary

Nick reflects on the impressive features of the Sealine C530, noting its spaciousness, versatility, and thoughtful design elements. He believes this boat gives a good idea of what to expect from both the C530 and F530 versions.
