Interior

Moving into the saloon, Nick admires the classic 90s cherry wood and ruched leather interior, emphasizing the detailed woodworking and capping around the boat. He also shows viewers the boat's storage areas, TV, DVD player, and helm station. He notes that while the small chart plotter and separate radar are dated, they could be updated, though he personally likes the original setup.

Descending to the lower level, there is a galley with electric cooking, microwave, and fridge. He praises Sunseeker's use of wooden cappings for storage. He then shows the front master cabin, noting that while the layout is different from today's full-beam masters, it still works well. The master cabin has its own ensuite, as does the guest cabin. There is a third, compact cabin, which highlights Sunseeker's clever use of space behind the steps for a hanging locker and storage.

On Deck

Nick highlights the passerelle which can lift a tender onto the bathing platform. He points out that, being an older boat, it has a ladder to the flybridge instead of the stairs seen on newer models.

The tour continues outside with a look at the flybridge, which is described as a 'really nice area'. He points out the period features, such as the winglets on the radar arch, and the helm position that can accommodate several people. The foredeck also has space for sun loungers, and the top houses the original radar and searchlight.

Performance

Nick concludes the tour by showing the boat's engines, a pair of V8 Caterpillar 3208 diesels. He praises their size and sound and how their positioning contributes to the generous accommodation space. The boat boasts a top speed of 25 knots and a range of 200-250 miles at high speed.

In Summary

Overall, Nick is impressed by the Sunseeker Manhattan 48, citing it as a great example of 90s Sunseeker boats and an excellent choice for buyers who don't mind purchasing older models.
