First announced to the press in 2016 she swiftly went into development and the first model rolled off the production line later the same year. She was unveiled to the general public at the 2016 London Yacht Show where she made her World Debut and made her American Debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in 2016. She won 'Best Yacht Design' at the 2017 Asia Boating Award.
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 18 knots via her twin 3,140hp MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines. In terms of range, the Sunseeker 131 has a standard range of 1,526 nautical miles (nm), which extends to an impressive 2,045 nm with additional tanks.
