The Azimut 78 flybridge yacht for sale represents the latest in exterior and interior design and superyacht levels of luxury.
Designed by Alberto Mancini, the new Azimut 78 looks a very different beast to the Mark I and continues Azimut’s next-generation flybridge mix of sharp, aggressive styling married to interiors that seem to almost float, full of organic shape, pastel tones and light.
Intended for crew operation and fast cruising, unusually, the new 78 is powered by efficient triple IPS drives with a top speed of 30knots. The aft-mounted engines push the crew quarters forward, with a bright four-cabin layout including a full-beam Owner’s stateroom. The salon features huge glass sections, its layout has the galley forward, creating a neat lounge area up by the helm.
The 78’s decks are its star feature, full of superyacht style and plenty of space. The flybridge, foredeck lounge and aft deck are all beautifully finished.
Following on from the Mk I 78 and the popular Azimut 80, the 78 reflects the latest in yacht design, construction and finish. If fresh modern style is for you, the 78 and its bright, pastel interior will impress. With deep glass sections and floaty curvaceous furniture, the salon is both inviting and calm. But outside, the cool, aggressive, Mancini design will thrill the senses of even the most ardent sports yacht fan, as will the triple IPS engines.

First generation models (Mk1, 2011 - 2013) are the most affordable, priced at £1.5 million. In contrast, the newest second generation models (Mk2, 2019) are listed between £2.8 million and £4.5 million, reflecting their advanced technology, more modern design, and newer construction. Over the past three years, the Azimut Fly 78 has shown distinct price trends across its two generations, reflecting differences in market demand, vessel condition, and features. The first generation models have the longest average time on the market, sitting for about 771 days, suggesting lower demand for the older features, and on average, they end up 4.39% lower than their initial asking price. The second generation models spend the shortest time on the market, on average around 294 days, which is unsurprising given their newer features and styling, and on average, they end up 10.35% lower than their initial asking price.
Azimut started development on the Fly 78 in 2011 and the first model rolled off the production line in 2000. The second generation was launched in 2019 and saw its World Debut at Cannes Yachting Festival later that year.
