High-performance and dynamics at first sight – The dynamic qualities of the Bavaria R55 are apparent at first sight: the innovative, dynamic hull design exudes sleek style and elegance, as does the low design of the flybridge and the deck lines. Despite her flat, highly dynamic design, the yacht provides a sensational amount of space on board.

Sleek on the outside, gigantic on the inside: with the Bavaria R55, we have succeeded in creating the perfect balance between enhancing the high-performance look of the boat without compromising on comfort in the interior. The yacht is fitted with IPS drives with 2x 600 PS or 2x 725 PS for powerful dynamics.

A Bavaria yacht represents the perfect synergy between many different components. At the heart of the design is extensive expertise and German excellence in engineering. This excellence has been developed through a long, successful tradition of naval engineering which is continued to this day in our shipyard in Giebelstadt.

In the case of the Bavaria R55, our team managed to give it a slim and highly dynamic exterior design while creating an extraordinary amount of space inside. It is unique in this class and an absolute benchmark in terms of design, elegance and performance.

She was constructed by J&J Design who already designed the successful BAVARIA R40 for Bavaria Yachts.

It’s a forward-facing contra-rotating propeller system, which is much more efficient than conventional shaft drives, since the driving force runs parallel to the surface of the water. This results in better acceleration combined with up to 30 % less fuel consumption and 40 % more range.
