The 78 was built in Britain by Fairline. The 24.37m/79'11" flybridge yacht constructed in GRP can sleep up to eight guests across four cabins. She was available with a range of inboard engine options.

Production of the first generation Fairline started in 2007 and ran for over 5 years. The second and final generation Fairline 78 went into production in 2012.
