Exterior Design
The exterior of A Salt Weapon is defined by its semi-displacement hull configuration, crafted from GRP and featuring a raked bow. The hull and superstructure share a blue-grey finish, complemented by a teak deck and black antifouling.
At the stern, the bathing platform and beach club offer practical and versatile spaces. The transformer platform has a 1000-kilogram capacity, suitable for a sizeable tender. It can also be used as a diving board or to access the quayside. The beach club area includes teak inlays and offers direct access to the engine room, along with a galley equipped with cooling space and a sink for convenience.
The cockpit area is designed for functionality and aesthetics, featuring staircases that align up to the sundeck. The mooring gear, made of highly polished stainless steel, integrates fairleads, bollards, and winches seamlessly into the railings. The high-gloss timber table and ample seating options, including a fixed bench aft along the transom, enhance the space.
The bridge deck serves as a primary outdoor socializing hub. It includes a dining area protected by the sundeck above, a hot tub, and an outdoor kitchen with a grill and small sink. A small round table with chairs provides an intimate spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. The bridge deck also features wing stations on both sides for efficient mooring.
The foredeck showcases a large sunpad that can cover the hot tub and create additional seating space. A flexible seating area with a U-shaped configuration allows for various setups, enhancing the usability of this area. A discreet crew passageway on the starboard side ensures smooth movement between decks without disturbing guests.
The sundeck is designed for maximum usability, featuring lounging areas with low-slung furniture and a substantial bar equipped with fridges, icemakers, and storage for glasses and drinks. A television adds to the social atmosphere, making this area suitable for relaxation and entertainment. The split dinette with coffee tables offers a vantage point to observe the surroundings, including the hot tub below.
Interior Design
Upon entering the saloon, the use of rich mahogany stands out, providing a cozy yet sophisticated environment. This is complemented by bright, soft carpets and head linings that enhance the natural light streaming through the expansive windows on both sides. The saloon offers ample seating with large, comfortable sofas and a notable coffee table that doubles as a storage unit. A television is cleverly concealed behind a sofa, maintaining the room's clean lines when not in use. The area also boasts push-button doors that slide open to allow easy access to the starboard side, facilitating movement around the boat and enhancing ventilation.
The galley on A Salt Weapon is designed to be both a functional workspace and an extension of the main living areas. Featuring wide doorways with pocket doors, it allows for easy closure when necessary. The galley is equipped with high-spec appliances, including Sub-Zero fridge freezers, a double oven, a dishwasher, and a trash compactor. The layout ensures ample cooling space, including a nearly full-height wine fridge. A large hull window behind the sink area floods the space with natural light, making it a pleasant area to work in. The galley also features deep stainless steel sinks and induction cooking surfaces with efficient overhead extraction.
The helm is fitted with large multi-function displays (MFDs) that provide comprehensive navigation and engine information. The digital switching system is fully integrated and user-friendly, offering control over lighting, pumps, and breakers remotely. The helm area includes three adjustable captain's chairs with footrests, ensuring comfort and functionality for the skipper. A remote control for the touchscreens adds to the convenience. Though there is no dinette within the helm area, the layout includes additional seating to accommodate crew members.
The sky lounge offers a more intimate setting, featuring low-slung, comfortable sofas and a large coffee table. A prominent bar area is integrated into the space, providing a fixture for social gatherings. The bar is equipped with large fridges and a sink, making it easy to serve drinks. This area is designed for relaxation, with elevated views and easy access to the bridge deck aft.

Performance & Capabilities
A Salt Weapon is powered by twin MAN V12 diesel engines, each delivering 2,000 horsepower. This robust propulsion system ensures the yacht has the muscle required for both high-speed cruising and efficient long-range voyages.
With the twin MAN V12 engines, A Salt Weapon can achieve a maximum speed of approximately 17 knots. This performance benchmark allows for swift travel between destinations, making it an ideal vessel for both short and extended trips.
At a more economical hull speed of 9 to 10 knots, A Salt Weapon boasts an impressive range of around 2,100 nautical miles. This extensive range ensures the yacht can undertake long-distance journeys with minimal need for refueling, providing a significant advantage for those looking to explore remote locations.
Equipped with fin stabilizers, A Salt Weapon offers enhanced stability both at anchor and while underway. The fin stabilizers work to reduce the rolling motion of the yacht, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable experience for all on board. This feature is particularly beneficial in rough seas, providing added comfort and safety.
The engine room of A Salt Weapon is designed with accessibility and maintenance in mind. Entry can be gained either through the beach club or via a door on the port side deck. The interior of the engine room is spacious, with ample room to maneuver around the engines and other mechanical systems. The space is free of chequer plates, featuring soft, liftable paneling that allows easy access to the underlying mechanical and plumbing systems.
The engine room houses twin generators mounted forward, providing reliable power for all onboard systems. The layout is thoughtfully organized, with clearly labeled valves and pipework, facilitating straightforward inspections and maintenance. An additional ante room connected to the beach club contains more machinery, further enhancing the functional design of the yacht's mechanical systems.
