Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.4m beam and a 2.44m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 800 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the first yacht built on the Custom design. She was delivered to her owners in August 2019.

Exterior Design

At 56 meters in length and with an 880GT volume, Babas strikes a remarkable balance between her generous dimensions and the illusion of a more compact, sporty profile. The full-displacement vessel's design demonstrates a careful consideration of proportions, ensuring that her size does not compromise her performance or aesthetic appeal.

The interior decor of Babas is further enriched by colorful paintings, the work of the owner's wife, which adorn the walls near the sky lounge's entrance, infusing the space with a vibrant, artistic flair. This personal touch underscores the yacht's identity as a family oasis, where the artistry extends beyond the canvas to the very layout and functionality of the living spaces.

In the main saloon, a sense of understated luxury prevails, with shimmering silver mosaics from Italian company Sicis reflecting light and adding a layer of texture and depth to the environment. Accommodation

Babas is meticulously crafted to accommodate up to 12 guests in six resplendent cabins, ensuring a journey of unparalleled comfort and privacy. Situated forward on the main deck, this lavish suite is a haven of sophistication, boasting exquisite grey upholstered wall features and furnishings styled by and in the Cavalli aesthetic. Performance & Capabilities

At the heart of Babas' mechanical prowess are the twin Caterpillar engines, which propel the yacht with remarkable efficiency and reliability. These engines have been meticulously selected to ensure optimal performance, providing the power needed for the yacht to glide through the water with grace and agility. During her transatlantic crossing, the yacht cruised comfortably at speeds between 11 and 12 knots with the engines running at 1,200 rpm. This operational sweet spot balances speed and fuel economy, ensuring guests can savor a smooth and unhurried journey across vast stretches of ocean.

Babas is designed to offer both speed and range, providing an excellent cruising experience for those on board. The yacht's maximum range is approximately 5,000 nautical miles, allowing for extensive voyages with fewer requirements for fuel stops.
