Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.1m beam and a 1.65m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 194 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was delivered to her owners in March 2024.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Big M yacht has a raked flared bow and white hull create a clean and sleek profile. The sundeck is equipped with stainless steel railings and includes practical amenities such as a sunbed with adjustable headrests, skylights leading to the owner’s cabin, and a bar area. This bar is fitted with an electric BBQ, fridge, ice maker, and bar stools, all set on teak decking with LED lighting and a self-draining system.
On the foredeck, the yacht includes an aluminum foremast, an upholstered sofa with built-in storage for fenders, and sunpads, along with stainless steel fittings, providing functional outdoor spaces. The main deck features weather-tight doors, electric fold-down balconies, and a spacious aft cockpit with a sofa and teak table, designed for straightforward social gatherings.
The swim platform is practical, featuring an electrohydraulic garage door, a swim ladder, and removable staple rails, making it suitable for water activities and easy access to the sea.
Interior Design
The Sky Lounge is equipped with a sliding door that leads to an L-shaped sofa and a dining area. This space provides advanced entertainment options, highlighted by a 55" LED TV. The use of high-quality materials such as eucalyptus veneer and dark-stained ebony accents contributes to a refined atmosphere.
In the Main Saloon, spaciousness is a key feature. The area combines elegance with practicality, featuring high-end finishes that include eucalyptus veneer and dark-stained ebony accents, alongside Calacatta Statuario marble. These materials are selected for their durability and aesthetic appeal, creating an environment suited to both relaxation and social gatherings.
The galley is designed for efficiency and professional-grade functionality. It comes fully equipped with twin fridge-freezers, an oven, induction hobs, and a dishwasher, ensuring that all culinary needs are met with ease. The layout supports efficient workflow, making meal preparation straightforward and convenient.
At the helm, advanced navigation systems are integrated for effective operation. Key technologies include radar, autopilot, AIS, night vision cameras, and GPS. These systems are designed to support safe and efficient navigation, providing the captain with the necessary tools for smooth operation.
Accommodation
Big M offers accommodation for up to ten guests across five en-suite cabins. The yacht features an owner's suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins. The owner's suite provides a walk-in closet, private office, and a bathroom equipped with twin basins and a marble shower.
The crew accommodations consist of two crew cabins and a captain's cabin accommodating up to five, each with private bathrooms, ensuring comfort and privacy for all aboard.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1900) 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Big M is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 17 knots. With her 15,141 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
