Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 14.5m beam and a 3.6m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 2,154 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Bilgin 282 has a sleek and modern profile, drawing similarities to the 2021 Bilgin yacht M/Y Tatiana. The yacht features sophisticated exterior details, complemented by additional glass on the forward bulwarks. The design includes a bullet-like bow, adding to its fast and aggressive appearance.

The yacht's forward tender store is enclosed, accommodating a 7.6-meter and a 5.65-meter tender, along with three jet skis. The foredeck is equipped with a touch-and-go helipad, providing convenient access for guests. The exterior design is further enhanced by a fold-down side beach platform at the full-beam beach club, which also includes a steam room and massage room.

The Bilgin 282 is fitted with a pool at the beach club, a jacuzzi on the main aft deck, and another jacuzzi on the owner deck forward exterior. These features provide ample leisure opportunities for guests. The yacht's design also incorporates a full glass circular elevator in the main lobby, spanning from the lower deck to the top deck, and a fold-down shell door in the gym area on the lower deck. 

Interior Design

The design has incorporated larger windows on each deck, allowing natural light to flood the interior spaces and create an open, airy atmosphere. The interior is equipped with a full glass circular elevator that spans four decks, providing easy access between levels. 

The main salon serves as the central hub for relaxation and socializing. It is outfitted with comfortable seating arrangements and a dining area. The bridge deck lounge and owner deck lounge offer additional spaces for leisure, each designed to cater to different moods and occasions.

The yacht features a well-appointed gymnasium, ensuring that fitness enthusiasts can maintain their routines while at sea. Adjacent to the gym, a movie theater room provides entertainment options, equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology for an immersive experience. Pantries are strategically located on the main and bridge decks to facilitate efficient service. The main deck galley is designed for optimal functionality, allowing the crew to prepare meals with ease.

The tank deck includes cold and freeze storage and a laundry area, ensuring that the yacht is well-stocked and maintained during extended voyages.

Accommodation

The Bilgin 282 yacht is designed to accommodate up to 16 guests across eight  cabins. This configuration ensures both comfort and privacy for all onboard. The master stateroom is a standout feature, located on the owner's deck. It includes a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a private office, all complemented by expansive windows that offer stunning views.

In addition to the master stateroom, the yacht features three guest cabins situated on the lower deck, and an option of either four guest cabins or two VIP cabins on the main deck. 

The crew accommodations are well-considered, with space for 21 crew members plus the captain, ensuring efficient and unobtrusive service throughout the journey.

Performance & Capabilities

Motor yacht Bilgin 282 is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 195,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots. These engine systems incorporate Selective Catalytic Reduction technology, which is a key feature for reducing emissions. This ensures compliance with IMO TIER III standards, allowing the yacht to navigate international waters freely and anchor in environmentally sensitive areas. 

The design of the Bilgin 282 had a focus on low noise and vibration levels, in order to provide a smooth and quiet cruising experience. This aspect of comfort is particularly important for long voyages.
