Enigma XK is an award winning 71m expedition yacht delivered by Richards Shipbuilders in 1988. Her interior design comes from the drawing boards of Vitruvius, while Philippe Briand is responsible for her exterior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 11.6m beam and a 4.6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,395 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Enigma XK is functional and robust, reflecting her origins as a patrol vessel. Her 234-foot steel hull and superstructure are built to withstand harsh maritime conditions, making her an ideal choice for long-range exploration. The bridge design is practical and efficient, featuring port and starboard chairs on either side of the central console. Powered by twin diesel Ruston (6AT 350M) 6-cylinder 3,000hp engines running at 2041rpm, motor yacht Enigma XK is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 220,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 12,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Enigma XK also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
