The 49.9m open yacht Force India was delivered to her owners in 2007 by Italian shipyard Mangusta. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Stefano Righini, while Mangusta is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9.2m beam and a 1.6m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 488 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2006. This was the first yacht built on the Mangusta 165 design. She was delivered to her owners in September 2007.
Accommodation
Force India offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 3,647hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Force India is capable of reaching a top speed of 40 knots, and comfortably cruises at 36 knots. With her 40,337 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 691 nautical miles. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
