Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 7.48m beam and a 2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 206 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in August 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2014.
Exterior Design
Gatsby's exterior is engineered with eco-friendly principles in mind. The yacht features a displacement hull, designed for efficiency with low emissions and reduced consumption. Its profile is characterized by soft, rounded lines that enhance its tall and bold superstructure.
The foredeck includes a dinette and sunpads, offering ample space for relaxation and enjoyment. At the stern, the ocean-level swim platform provides easy access to the water, complementing the range of water toys available on board.
Interior Design
The interior design of the Gatsby yacht uses dark woods that are prominently featured throughout, providing a rich contrast to the cream paneling that lines the walls. This combination creates a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The main deck offers an open space salon that includes a dining area and lounge. This area is equipped with a large contemporary dining table that seats up to ten people, making it suitable for both intimate gatherings and larger social events. The lounge area provides ample seating and is designed to promote relaxation and conversation.
On the upper deck, an additional lounge area is available, offering a more secluded space for relaxation. This area is conveniently located near the bridge and provides easy access for those interested in observing the navigation process.
Accommodation
The yacht Gatsby, crafted by Filippetti Yacht, offers a sophisticated accommodation arrangement that caters to both comfort and exclusivity. Designed with the owner’s privacy in mind, the entire upper deck serves as a dedicated retreat. Here, the owner's area is an expansive suite, featuring a two-room ensuite, a dressing room, and a large office, ideal for undisturbed productivity or relaxation. This exclusive owner's area is complemented by a generous terrace that provides panoramic views of the surrounding seascape.
Gatsby accommodates up to 17 individuals onboard, ensuring ample space for guests and crew alike. The yacht features six spacious cabins, a distinguishing attribute that sets it apart from others in its class. The main deck hosts a VIP cabin, while the lower deck houses four additional ensuite guest cabins, each designed to provide a restful and private experience.
For the crew of five, three dedicated cabins are available.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 2000 M93) 1,200hp engines, motor yacht Gatsby is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 27,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
