Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.18m beam and a 2.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 380 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in June 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Social areas are a key feature of Hygge’s exterior design. The main deck provides a sizable living area and a flexible al fresco dining area on the aft deck, complete with semi-circular oversized sun pads.

The upper deck offers private banquet seating in front of the master suite and a formal dining area in the sky lounge. The aft area is reserved for a jacuzzi and additional sun pads, thanks to the forward positioning of the split-level pilothouse.

The initial section of the foredeck includes smart storage for the yacht's tender with a launching crane on the starboard side. Steps lead up to the owner's private deck.

At the stern, a fixed bathing platform is accessed via twin stairways that widen as they reach the water's edge. The main deck aft features extensive sun pads and seating. Stairways on the port side decks provide access between levels. Extensive glazing flush with the deck side offers unobstructed views and enhances the connection to the seascape.

A modern and timeless design, which conveys the elegance and grandeur of a genuine MCP Yachts transoceanic yacht; and which both allows daring journeys to the most remote parts of the planet, and promotes unparalleled comfort on family and relaxing cruises along the coast.”

Interior Design

Hygge's lounges and salons are designed to be both comfortable and functional. The main salon features large windows that provide excellent views and contribute to the airy feel of the space. The use of neutral tones and simple lines creates a sophisticated yet unpretentious ambiance.

The skylounge offers a unique setting with gullwing lookouts that provide forward-facing views. This area is ideal for socializing or simply enjoying the scenery. The connection to the large sheltered aft deck further enhances the versatility of this space, providing options for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Accommodation

Hygge provides accommodation for up to 14 guests across a seven-stateroom configuration. The owner’s suite is situated on the upper deck forward, offering an expansive private terrace. Two VIP staterooms are located on the lower deck. These rooms are designed with large windows, allowing natural light to flood in and provide unobstructed views of the surroundings.

On the main deck, you will find two double suites and two twin cabins. Like the other staterooms, these cabins feature large windows that enhance the sense of space and connection with the outside environment.

She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
