Design & Construction

To meet the owner's requirements for accommodating guests, Monaco-based design studio, The A Group, turned to the newly established Passenger Yacht Code (PYC), setting industry standards for yachts with a guest allowance of up to 36 passengers. While adhering to more stringent regulations for safety and materials, the original brief for a multi-generational yacht could be fulfilled. The yacht, designed under the new code, features a displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. With a beam of 16.85m (55.28ft) and a draft of 6m (19.69ft), the yacht boasts an internal volume of 4,437 Gross Tonnes (GT).

The yacht was designed and constructed to meet the technical standards of Lloyd's Register. Launched in November 2014, it underwent sea trials in the following months and was delivered to its owners in July 2015.

Exterior Design

Characterized by sleek lines and a contemporary profile, the use of glass not only enhances the visual appeal but serves as a structural element. The yacht's silhouette is punctuated by distinctive glass "shark fins" that provide both a windbreak and a transition from the robust horizontal lines of the lower decks to the towering mast above. These fins are more than mere aesthetic devices; they are integral to the yacht's innovative design, allowing for floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the interiors in natural light.

I Dynasty's expansive walkaround side decks are generously proportioned to allow for strolls around the vessel, or for guests to relax in steamer chairs and soak in the ocean view. The ample use of glass continues here, facilitating a connection between the interior and exterior spaces, and ensuring that guests never feel disconnected from the marine environment.

The exterior living areas have been thoughtfully designed to cater to all weather conditions, with hidden glass doors and windows that can easily transform open spaces into sheltered havens. This versatility ensures that the yacht's outdoor offerings are always inviting, whether basking in the sun or seeking refuge from the elements.

At the stern, an engineering achievement is revealed in the form of a floodable tender garage. This multifunctional space can house a custom Pascoe limousine tender, which is deployed through a sophisticated system meticulously engineered in collaboration with Kusch Yachts. When the tender is at sea, the garage transforms into a vast pool deck, complemented by natural illumination and ventilation from a sizeable starboard-side shell door designed for the launch of a Riva. Even when the tender is in use, children can enjoy a safe swimming area thanks to a clever design feature that prevents water from sloshing, ensuring a serene pool experience.

I Dynasty's propulsion systems, power management, and stabilizing features all provide a serence and efficient journey.

Interior Design

The yacht's interior palette features warm honey-colored woods, primarily anigre, and madrone burr veneers, creating a serene and inviting backdrop. These woods highlight intricate marquetry on cabinetry and built-in furniture, showcasing the attention to detail in I Dynasty's design.

The main saloon, a standout feature, boasts a patterned parquet floor, reflecting Studio Massari's preference for formality and sophistication over carpet. Designed for the owner's preference for cruising with large parties, the salon offers various seating areas, a games table, a well-stocked library, and a baby grand piano.

The grand staircase, a visual link to the upper saloon, enhances the sense of connectivity. Complemented by a custom five-meter chandelier from Cenedese of Murano, it adds light and a sense of verticality.

Adhering to the rigorous Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) requirements, the yacht's interior is not just visually appealing but also a technical marvel. Creative solutions, like beautiful stamped or woven leathers and non-combustible plaster, replicate the look of mahogany while meeting the fire safety standards of the international yacht code.

Gold leaf accents and tray ceilings add luminosity throughout I Dynasty, and the sealer used ensures compliance with PYC's fire safety regulations. This balance of aesthetics and safety is a testament to the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the design and construction teams.

Accommodation

I Dynasty stands out for its ability to accommodate a significant number of guests, embodying the essence of a multi-generational luxury yacht. With eleven well-appointed cabins, the yacht caters to the privacy and comfort of up to twenty guests in cabins laid out across the main and upper decks

At the heart of the yacht's accommodations is the owner's suite. Crafted with exquisite materials and state-of-the-art amenities, it embodies the owner's vision of a lavish maritime retreat.

The VIP cabins provide guests with spacious retreats with fine linens and elegant furnishings. Additional guest cabins, designed with equal attention to detail, offer private spaces featuring plush accommodations and sophisticated décor. The use of rare marble and bespoke elements adds a touch of luxury. Each of the guest cabins in I Dynasty showcases a backlit 3D oyster shell headboard adorned with fan patterns, reminiscent of the paving stones found in Italian piazzas.

Recognizing the crew's vital role, I Dynasty provides comfortable accommodations for a dedicated crew of 32, ensuring their rest and rejuvenation for optimal service to guests.

Performance & Capabilities

I Dynasty's features a diesel-electric powerplant incorporating Rolls-Royce equipment and five engines, managed to match the yacht's electrical load demand. This system minimizes fuel consumption and exhaust gas emissions by generating power strictly based on current needs.

With a top speed of 16 knots, I Dynasty showcases exceptional maneuverability, thanks in part to dual Rolls-Royce Azipulls and a bow thruster. This combination enables a comprehensive dynamic-positioning mode, useful for station-keeping in deep waters or delicate seabeds and optimizing the positioning of the yacht's tender and side-boarding platforms in varying sea conditions.

The yacht's efficient diesel-electric powerplant and intelligent power management systems prioritize long-range cruising with minimal environmental impact, offering a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 14 knots. Designed for endurance and sustainability, I Dynasty can undertake extensive voyages with reduced fuel consumption and emissions.

Equipped with advanced stabilizing technology, inherent in its naval architecture, I Dynasty's heavy displacement and robust steel construction contribute to a smooth and stable experience at sea, enhancing guest comfort during cruising and at anchor.

Amenities

I Dynasty provides generous interior space for the family and guests, featuring special areas such as a cinema, beach club, lower arrival lobby, sauna, hair salon, massage room, hammam, gym, dive center with a changing room, a forward-facing observation lounge, and main and upper saloons connected by a spectacular open staircase. The light marble serves as the backbone of the staircase, enveloping a large glass lift leading to the upper deck. To further enhance, a wrought iron balustrade with gold-plated details takes up a floral motif.
