Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.5m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in September 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Incal's white hull and superstructure contrast with darker glazing, emphasizing a modern aesthetic. Above the black bootstrap defining the water's edge, the hull features portholes ensuring light reaches the lower deck accommodation.
The exterior of the yacht prioritizes outdoor living, with the standout feature being the expansive aft swim platform, developed in collaboration with nautical fittings specialist Sanguineti Chiavari. This platform not only offers ample space on the water but also boasts a versatile aft swim ladder that can be raised or lowered 2.8 meters, providing easy access to the water or the dock. Additionally, when the stern is closed, the swim ladder operates independently as a passerelle from the main deck.
Forward, a beach club has been ingeniously created by housing the Castoldi tender and two jet skis in an adjacent garage with side launching facilitated by a hydraulic crane.
The 115-square-meter sundeck features a wet bar equipped with a fridge, ice maker, teppanyaki grill, and dumbwaiter from the galley. Abundant seating and lounging areas are also provided. Notably, the sundeck offers flexibility, with a sunpad island that can be transformed into a spa pool, with all the necessary plumbing discreetly hidden beneath.
The wheelhouse, outfitted by Italian company DomoSystems, also houses the entertainment systems, seamlessly controlled via iPads throughout the yacht. Featuring an integrated bridge with touch screens, reverse angled windows offering 280 degrees of visibility, and wing stations on both side decks, the wheelhouse ensures optimal navigation and functionality.
Fixed balconies on either side of the full-beam main deck master cabin maintain a strong connection with the outdoors.
Interior Design
Incal's interior exudes classical elegance, featuring rich cherry wood floors and paneling complemented by beige upholstery and swagged curtains with gold baroque flourishes. Onyx bar tops and Portoro marble en suites add to the ambiance. A standout feature is the impressive two-meter-long crystal chandelier by Laudarte in the stairwell, lending grandeur to the tall spaces without feeling crowded.
Descending the wide, cream-carpeted staircase from the main deck lobby to the lower deck lobby, flanked by brass columns, creates a sense of grandeur. The spaciousness is evident throughout, especially in the formal main/dining saloon and the relaxed upper saloon leading to a generously sized aft deck dining area. Despite the ample side walkways, the yacht's beam is most apparent in these areas.
Practicality meets luxury with a sensibly laid-out galley amidships in the main saloon, while a dumbwaiter extends from the galley to the sundeck for seamless service. Additionally, a hidden wine cellar is capable of storing 56 bottles.
The gym on the bridge deck is equipped with an exercise bike, treadmill, and a Technogym weight machine. This space caters to guests who wish to maintain their fitness routines while on board.
Accommodation
Incal accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, ensuring a comfortable and private experience for all onboard. Located on the main deck, the master suite offers a large office area, two private balconies, and an ensuite with a Jacuzzi bath. This suite provides a serene space for relaxation and privacy.
In addition, to the full beam owner's suite, the VIP cabin forward on the lower deck feels remarkably spacious for its 45-meter size. It's full-beam, featuring a seating area, large double bed, walk-in wardrobe, and en suite bathroom. Aft of the VIP cabin, there are four more cabins—two twins and two doubles. The builder, Barcelona-based Viudes Yachts, aimed to set their debut yacht apart by offering a six-cabin layout. Viudes insisted on a minimum head height of 2.15 meters in all cabins.
Nine crew can be accommodated onboard to provide full guest service.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32) 1,317hp engines, motor yacht Incal is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 80,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
