Delivered in 2012, Iron Blonde is a 60.15m motor yacht built by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Trinity Yachts, while Patrick Knowles is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9.75m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 916 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2006 with the keel laid under the project name 'Mine Games'. Launched in March 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2012.

Accommodation

Iron Blonde offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin and 4 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 19 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516C) 16-cylinder 3,381hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Iron Blonde is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 108,190 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,350 nautical miles at an economic speed of 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Iron Blonde also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
