Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.18m beam and a 1.7m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 195 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fifth yacht built on the Mangusta 110 design.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the yacht Nana I is marked by its dark grey hull and white superstructure, presenting a sleek and modern appearance. This Mediterranean sport motor yacht features a modified deep vee planing hull, a flared bow, and a transom-type stern with an integrated bathing platform. The design is consistent with the style of the smaller yachts from Mangusta.

The yacht is engineered for high performance, with twin water-jet diesel engines that allow it to reach speeds over 33 knots. The focus on balance is evident in the distribution of space, offering large volumes both indoors and outdoors. This ensures a comfortable experience for guests, with multiple areas available for privacy and social activities.

The foredeck is equipped with sunbathing and seating areas, complete with a bimini for shade. At the aft, there is a tender garage designed to fit a Williams diesel jet.

On the flybridge, guests can enjoy dining and sunbathing next to the upper helm. The sound system is integrated both indoors and outdoors, ensuring quality audio throughout. The aft deck also includes a dining area and a wet bar, enhancing the outdoor experience.

Interior Design

The main saloon offers a contemporary open-plan design, featuring a reflective ceiling that adds depth and light to the space. The room is equipped with modular furniture, allowing for flexibility in arrangement to suit various occasions. A dining area for eight is positioned aft, providing a comfortable space for meals and social gatherings, while the main helm is located forward, ensuring ease of navigation.

The galley is designed with practicality in mind, featuring bright and functional white surfaces complemented by stainless steel fixtures and fittings.  Nana I also offers various socializing areas, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring guests can enjoy different environments as desired. The sound system, installed throughout the yacht, enhances the atmosphere, whether one is relaxing indoors or entertaining on the deck.

In addition to these features, the yacht's design prioritizes minimizing noise and vibration, contributing to a more comfortable onboard experience. This has been achieved through the use of flexible installations and sound-dampening materials, ensuring a peaceful environment even when at sea.

Accommodation

The luxury yacht Nana I is equipped to accommodate a total of eight guests across four well-appointed cabins, comprising an owners cabin, a VIP cabin, a double cabin and a twin cabin.

The owner's Suite is designed to be light-filled and spacious, featuring a bureau and seating area with intricate dragon scale detailing on the headboard. This suite also includes an ensuite bathroom with layered dark marble, creating a sophisticated and refined atmosphere.

For the crew, Nana I includes accommodations for up to three. The crew quarters consist of one single captain's cabin and two crew cabins.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000M96L) 2,600hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Nana I is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. With her 13,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 28 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.

The engines and other mechanical components are installed with flexibility to reduce noise and vibration. The engine room's structure beneath the main deck, along with watertight bulkheads and specially designed casings, further contribute to a quieter environment. Sound dampening is enhanced by the use of absorbing compounds in targeted areas and expansion joints in pipelines. Additionally, the generator exhaust is equipped with mufflers and sound dampers to ensure operational serenity.
