Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 14.4m beam and a 4.29m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 3,156 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in September 1973.
Exterior Design
As a private vessel within the Saudi Royal family fleet, Navtilvs is extremely private and exudes classic elegance with a raked bow and a rounded torpedo-style stern. The design is characterized by simplicity, with uncluttered lines and three guest levels, maintaining a low profile. The navigation and communication tower, with a forward-sweeping silhouette, provides the only notable height. The low slung aft of the lower deck is introduced as the blue hull sweeps downwards towards the stern.
Navtilvs draws inspiration from the golden era of steamer ships, featuring wide walkways and utilitarian staircases. The design avoids grandiosity, favoring a more functional approach. The forward-facing deck lines exhibit a rounded, slightly aerodynamic gesture, while the windows, reminiscent of cruise liners, allow ample natural light to illuminate the private interior.
Notably, Navtilvs underwent a significant refit in 2013, revealing a striking dark blue hull in contrast to the white superstructure.
Interior Design
The yacht is privately owned, and no interior photographs are available.
