  • 1500kg crane for efficient tender launch

Design & Construction

Designed around a round bilged displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 6.7m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 162 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Amidships on the aft deck, there is a traditional ship's funnel, accompanied by a barbecue setup on the starboard side. The outboard starboard side also houses one of the ship's life rafts. The sundeck offers uninterrupted 360-degree views and serves as an ideal location for drone operations, providing ample space for takeoff and landing.

Wisting features broad teak side decks that facilitate easy movement around the vessel. The exposed bulwarks enhance the sense of being on a capable ocean explorer, prepared to handle challenging sea conditions.

The canoe-shaped stern houses a Brigg semi-rigid inflatable tender, which can be launched efficiently using the Yottec 1500kg crane. The main deck salon leads to a winding staircase that ascends to the bridge deck aft, an area designed for entertainment and alfresco dining.

The deck is covered with teak over aluminum, contributing to a non-slip surface and classic marine appearance. The hull is painted grey, which complements the white superstructure. The combination is visually appealing and practical for maritime use. Below the waterline, the hull is coated in black, matching the boot top color, which provides a cohesive look while offering protection from marine growth.

Interior Design

The galley is equipped with high-quality appliances, including two large Bosch refrigerators, a Bosch freezer, a dishwasher, a Dura coffee maker, and a Miele microwave. The galley is fully kitted with stainless steel surfaces, making it durable and easy to clean.

The helm station is equipped with modern bridge controls and displays. This includes the DST 800 depth sounder, rudder angle indicator, RD 33 wind display, and Simrad autopilot displays. The helm also features controls for the vessel's 75-kilowatt electric bow and stern thrusters. The area is designed for ease of navigation and operation, with a bridge office conveniently located behind the helm station to starboard, complete with a standalone desktop computer.

The lounges and salons aboard Wisting are designed to offer a balance of space and comfort. The main deck salon, in particular, provides a roomy yet inviting environment, ideal for socializing.

Wisting offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
