The GT45X Open was built in the United States by Hatteras with a multi-award winning in-house design team. She was a variation in the GT45X series, and a flybridge yacht, the GT45X Flybridge, was also produced. The 14.5m/47'7" sportfisher boat constructed in fibreglass can sleep up to four guests in two cabins. She was available with a range of inboard engine options.
Development started in 2019.

She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 34 knots via her twin 985hp Caterpillar C12.9 E02 engines. In terms of range, the Hatteras GT45X Open has a standard range of 446 nautical miles (nm).
