The discerning voyager will feel and appreciate one of Maritimo’s endearing features the moment they step aboard. It’s a sense of space! More headroom, more walk-around area, more freedom than you’ve ever experienced in an offshore motoryacht of similar displacement. In fact, no other motoryacht looks, feels or performs like a Maritimo. It simply manages to be both timeless and ahead of its time. It truly is oceans apart!

Before stepping inside a Maritimo for the first time, prepare to be surprised! You may never have seen an ocean going cruiser so lavishly appointed. Slide open the large glass doors from the cockpit and your eyes are instantly spoilt for choice. The array of sumptuous appointments, from the ‘sunken’ aft galley to the lower helm station, is overwhelming while the huge sliding windows and skipper’s door provide unparalleled views of your marine environment.

Below deck: At night, an illuminated acrylic handrail guides you down the companionway to your accommodation. To starboard a twin bunk cabin also features a concealed washer/dryer. Forward is the double guest cabin with ensuite, while the stateroom enjoys a private ensuite and an ingenious walk-in wardrobe that must be seen to be believed.

All of the attributes of a larger Maritimo vessel have been integrated into the 52, including zoned air-conditioning and an ingenious walk-in wardrobe that must be seen to be believed!

Open the electronic throttle and the 52 eases quickly up to cruising speed. With the engines positioned far enough forward to give the shafts a minimal nine degree entry, the five-bladed props can attack the water at the most efficient angle. So when you apply the power, the Maritimo doesn’t bury the stern and ride bow high.

The variable deadrise hull ensures the transition from sub-planing to planing speeds is effortless and a 500 nautical mile range (at 25kts cruise speed) makes true long-distance cruising a reality.

Polished stainless saloon entry doors slide right open on either side to expose the aft deck, its island barbecue and access to the swim platform. The flybridge is capable of accommodating as many as the saloon and has its own balcony. In fact, there are four entertaining areas – and no less than four fridges to go with them!

From the fail-safe battery arrangement that ensures the engines always start on demand to a keel which makes the hull run straight even in a following sea – the Maritimo 52 is among the safest vessels afloat.
