Alia Yachts launches Project SAN: A custom 45m all-aluminum superyacht

Alia Yachts, a Turkey-based shipyard, has announced the launch of Project SAN, a bespoke 45m (148ft) superyacht crafted entirely from aluminum.

Spearheading the project's design is the renowned Dutch studio, Sinot, in collaboration with naval architecture experts, Lateral Naval Architects.

Project SAN's layout emphasizes al fresco living and features a fully open main deck from the stern to the bow, without any major visual obstacles.

The design of SAN began after long and in-depth conversations with her future owner on the desired layouts, functionality, and style. The exterior deck furniture is multi-functional. Tables convert from dining to an evening cocktail setup and sunbathing areas convert easily into intimate seating. The aft deck sunbathing area can be expanded by folding the bulwarks down, providing even more of an outdoor living space experience."

Distinguished by a low, predatory superstructure featuring a raised pilothouse and sleek, unblemished lines, Project SAN's exterior exudes sophistication. Initial images reveal her plumb bow and expansive, clutter-free deck space.

Despite interior photos being unavailable at present, the design ethos is said to follow a minimalist and detail-oriented approach, with full-height windows ensuring the yacht’s surroundings remain a focal point, wherever it may be. Furthermore, all of the accommodation is located on the lower deck, consisting of four cabins, including a generously appointed owner’s cabin.

Based on an innovative and attractive design philosophy, Project SAN will further strengthen our pursuit to be recognized as one of the top custom yacht builders in the world by delivering such superior projects recognized worldwide."

The launch follows Alia Yachts' recent collaboration with Burgess on a bespoke 45m superyacht project. Set to combine the talents of H2 Yacht Design, Vickers Studio, and Van Oossanen, this other project is scheduled for delivery in 2026.
