Codecasa announces new spec build of 58m C127 superyacht

Italian shipyard Codecasa has announced it is building a new superyacht, the 58m (190’) Hull C127.

The luxury motor yacht is due to hit the water in Spring 2023, and will be one of the fastest yachts in her category with a maximum speed of 21 knots.

Built in steel with a fast displacement hull and vertical bow, the Codecasa C127 has accommodation for 12 guests split between the owner’s suite and five additional staterooms. An onboard elevator makes access between all floors easy.

Other highlights of the C127 include a beach club with a folding shell door that becomes a swimming platform, a gym and a 3.5m x 3m swimming pool on the sun deck.

Powered by a pair of 3,386-hp Caterpillar engines, she has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

This news follows hot on the heels of Codecasa’s first launch this year, the 55m superyacht FRAMURA, which hit the water on 18 July. They have a further two hulls scheduled for delivery in 2021.

Codecasa’s most interesting project is the Codecasa Jet 2020. Set to become their flagship vessel, the 70m superyacht takes its inspiration from the jumbo jet. Either end of the superstructure has been created to resemble the nose and tail of an aircraft, and it looks set to be one of the most unique superyachts for sale. At the moment many details of the Jet 2020 are still to be confirmed.
