With the first hull still to hit the water, Azimut has revealed it has already sold hull number five of its flagship Azimut Grande 38 Metri Trideck.
The experienced American Owner was attracted to the 38.2m (125ft) superyacht by its modern styling, general layout and personalizable interior. The dedicated beach club, large sundeck, bow dipping pool and seating and side garage for a tender were said to be other big selling points.
Azimut announced the Grande 38 Metri Trideck at the Cannes Yachting Show in 2019, with three hulls quickly sold. The first hull in the series is due for delivery in spring 2021.
The model offers a variety of interior layouts and either a five or six-guest cabin layout. No details of the decor the Owner wants have been released, but it is known they have chosen the five-stateroom layout. The flexibility of the design choice is further shown by the inclusion of a private patio on her main deck in lieu of a traditional formal dining area.
The tri-deck superyacht features naval architecture from Azimut themselves, an exterior by Alberto Mancini Yacht Design and interiors from Salvagni Architetti.
Construction on the fifth hull is expected to be completed in the spring of 2022 when she will be delivered to her Owner in the Bahamas.
