Fly 62: Azimut’s Revolutionary Flybridge With Beach Club Concept

Designed by Alberto Mancini and Fabio Fantolino, the Beach Club concept aims to revolutionize the flybridge sector.

Azimut has launched the Fly 62 at its Avigliana production plant in Italy, marking a milestone in the evolution of the flybridge yacht segment.

The Fly 62 will make its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, from September 10-15. The new yacht, available for sale, will showcase Azimut’s innovative Beach Cockpit concept, which redefines the traditional flybridge layout.

Unlike conventional designs with separate water access areas, this model features a transom that opens outward and a synchronized lowering sofa, creating a seamless sunbathing area close to the water. This unique design eliminates physical barriers, providing a connection to the sea.

Aboard the Fly 62, passengers can enjoy meals facing the ocean and engage in various activities in spaces designed for multiple generations. Whether resting in the shade, swimming, enjoying an aperitif, or sunbathing, the design promotes shared moments of enjoyment.

Exterior designer Alberto Mancini draws inspiration from recent automotive trends and the functional and aesthetic evolution of SUVs. The Fly 62’s superstructure advances towards the bow, enhancing the cockpit while maintaining the sporty lines characteristic of the Azimut Fly Series. The new hardtop, also by Mancini, features hyper-modern lines that complement the hull's horizontal windows.

For the interiors, Azimut partnered again with architect Fabio Fantolino, who designed open spaces, free of visual barriers, to create a sense of unrestricted connection to the sea, using clean and fresh designs with essential details.
