Much-anticipated, Greenline Yachts has officially revealed the Greenline 58 Fly at the Cannes Boat Show, marking its global premiere.
The luxury yacht market witnessed an exciting development with the world premiere of the Greenline 58 Fly at the Cannes Boat Show, an event that marked a significant milestone for Greenline Yachts. This new addition to their fleet of innovative yachts represents the brand's commitment to merging luxury with environmentally conscious design.
The 58 Fly is the product of a collaboration that brings together the expertise of Greenline Yachts, designer Marco Casali of Too Design, and the engineering prowess of MICAD. It is a yacht that features clean lines that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.
The main deck of the yacht is designed on a single level, emphasizing seamless movement throughout, while the aft galley is strategically placed to serve both indoor and outdoor spaces with ease.
Flexibility is at the core of the 58 Fly's design, offering a layout that can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of its owners. It boasts an extended hydraulic bathing platform capable of lifting 500kg, making it perfect for water sports enthusiasts.
The cockpit is ingeniously designed with a unique seating arrangement that can be transformed into a luxurious day bed, offering the ultimate spot for relaxation.
The bow lounge offers additional comfort with its 360º sea views, ensuring that entertainment and leisure are always accompanied by breathtaking scenery.
The yacht's interiors are just as impressive, featuring three cabins, two bathrooms, and walk-in wardrobes for the master and VIP ensuites. Those looking for a yacht that doubles as a mobile office will appreciate the optional feature that converts the twin guest cabin into a fully-equipped workspace, complete with built-in monitors and printer storage. This level of customization ensures that the Greenline 58 Fly is not simply a mode of transportation but a floating sanctuary that adapts to the lifestyle of its inhabitants.
Greenline Yachts takes pride in being pioneers of hybrid propulsion in boats, a technology they have been perfecting since 2008. The Greenline 58 Fly is equipped with 10 solar panels that generate a peak power of 4kW, a testament to the brand's dedication to sustainable yachting. Additionally, the yacht boasts the newly developed 6g H-Drive system, comprising two 25kW motors paired with two Cummins 715hp engines. Prospective buyers will find options for a 715hp Cummins pure diesel or Hybrid Drive, as well as a diesel-only twin 1,000hp Volvo Penta variant.
With the Cummins 715s and Hybrid Drive, the yacht can reach a top speed of 25 knots and an electric cruising speed of 6 knots for a range of 30nm, depending on the battery choice.
Greenline's commitment to responsible boating extends to offering a fleet with options for conventional, hybrid, or electric drive — the only complete fleet of its kind in the world. While diesel engines are still available, the focus is on utilizing the most efficient options on the market to provide a responsible diesel boating solution.
The Greenline 58 Fly is designed with a vision of the future, where electric propulsion is the standard for responsible boating. Every model in the Greenline range, including the 58 Fly, is available with a fully electric drive system. This innovation delivers silent, emission-free propulsion and integrated energy management to power the boat’s domestic needs, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.
As the demand for luxury yachts that embrace sustainability grows, the Greenline 58 Fly stands out as a vessel that satisfies both the conscience and the desire for luxury at sea.
