As the initial unit nears completion, the Doge 400 GT has attracted an experienced buyer, set to receive the second unit by December 2024. The Ocean King shipyard in Chioggia, Italy, is bustling with activity, shifting the first unit outdoors to pave the way for the construction of its successor.
Ocean King, the Italian yacht builder, is ahead of schedule on the imminent launch of the first unit in its DOGE 400 GT series. This 41.8m (137ft) superyacht is currently undergoing interior furnishing, marking a significant step toward its scheduled launch and sea trials in May 2024.
The inaugural Doge 400 GT yacht is now available for sale, offering an exciting opportunity to acquire a brand-new vessel with reduced lead times and a comprehensive shipyard warranty.
The Doge 400 GT boasts a rugged, explorer-esque exterior envisioned by Design aLOT Studio, reflecting a perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics. Internally, the yacht's interiors have been curated by BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design, ensuring a fusion of luxury and comfort. Contributing to the vessel's outstanding naval architecture is inNave.

The master cabin, situated forward on the main deck, features an en suite bathroom, an extensive dressing area, and a private study. Guest accommodation on the lower deck includes two VIP suites, a double cabin, and a twin cabin. Seven crew members are also catered to with their dedicated quarters.
The main deck showcases a spacious saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows, leading to an external lounge and al fresco dining area. A formal dining room on the upper deck connects to the sun deck, featuring a bar and a swimming pool. Additionally, a standout feature of the new yacht is the large beach club with two fold-out balconies providing easy access to the sea.
The DOGE 400 GT features two tender garages—one in the bow and another in the aft beach club, providing ample stowage options. Additionally, there is stowage availability on the main deck.
Powered by twin MAN engines, the Doge 400 GT achieves a maximum speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots, and an impressive range of 5,500 nautical miles. This ensures a smooth and efficient journey for those seeking both speed and endurance on the open waters.
