More information on the new Princess Y80 is expected to be revealed at the Cannes Yacht Show but there are already some interesting features and considerations, the design seemingly following on from the excellent Y72.
Already showcasing the Mk2 of the Princess Y85 and announcing the F65 this year, Princess are set to delight the yachting industry further in 2022 with yet another upcoming model for the Princess Y Class range.
Princess has confirmed the 25.5m (83ft) Y80 model will have top speeds of around 30-32 knots.
First impressions look slick and sleek with sweeping lines and extensive, near panoramic, glazing around the main deck.
Social hotspots are visible in the initial designs with sun pads on the bow and flybridge, plus an al fresco dining option catered to with a conveniently located aft galley.
Teamed up with a swim platform and two helm stations, all the basics are certainly there for an enjoyable cruise with either Owner or crew operation.
Reportedly able to accommodate up to eight guests, a brief glimpse of the interiors suggests a generous amount of space for this size of yacht, with a formal dining option adjacent to large windows.
Exceptional views and proximity to the sea appear to be a dominant feature onboard, not only with the al fresco lounge and dining options on the stern and flybridge, but the extent of glazing implies abundant natural light throughout and an educated guess of a spacious amidship master cabin on the lower deck with decent sized windows.
Currently scheduled to be launched in 2023 more details are set to be revealed during the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival, running from the 6-11 September. To find out more about the Princess collection take a look at all the available new and used Princess yachts for sale.
