Rosetti exclusively reveals details of 38m explorer yacht EXP

Rosetti Superyachts has revealed more details of its new 38m explorer yacht EXP.

The new EXP superyacht from Rosetti has been heavily influenced by the experienced owners who have incorporated their own requirements into the design and development of the vessel.

On schedule for a spring 2021 delivery, the Italian shipyard has confirmed several details on the build during an exclusive event at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.

The new owners have expressed intention to spend an extensive amount of time with the construction team to ensure the end result of the explorer yacht is their dream build.

Elements of the owners' input have already been integrated into the design of the vessel, such as the inclusion of alcoves to house works of art throughout the interiors.

The 38m EXP fully embodies the philosophy of Rosetti Superyachts, which is to apply the extensive shipbuilding experience of Rosetti Marino to the superyacht sector. This experience shines through the project in every detail, from the exterior and interior design to the careful selection of equipment and overall construction quality.

Constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the Rosetti 38 EXP will be powered by a pair of MAN D2868 LE 425 engines (588kW) with electric fin stabilisers, which are designed to reduce the amount of noise as much as possible while the vessel is at anchor.

Maximum manoeuvrability has been catered to within the designs with a powerful electric bow thruster and independent rudders to assist in restricted or difficult areas.

The exterior design reflects the yacht’s functionality and reliability, which were the key priorities for the owners. Special attention has also been paid to the crew area and to the hold volumes, both essential requirements for long voyages far from ports or marinas.

In addition to the optimal performance provided by the premium engineering, life on board is spacious and has everything needed to keep guests entertained and comfortable.

Hydro Tec has created a minimalist and modern exterior environment which provides guests with ample options to relax in the sun and make the most of being close to the sea. Multiple sunpads, loungers and al fresco seating areas allow the owners to enjoy every view around the vessel while still being in the company of their guests.

Interiors for the Italian craft have been carefully designed by BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design. Based close by to the Rosetti Superyachts shipyard in Ravenna, Italy, the design team have worked alongside the owners to bring a functional but stylistic environment off the page. A staircase takes pride of place as a main centrepiece of the design, boasting as much influence on the end result as the extensive use of white lacquer plus light and dark woods.
