As the boat is out of wather the shaft drive, which has tunnelled props, can be seen. This was noteworthy because the Greenline 45 Fly also offers an IPS drive version with a different hull design for a flatter aft section. Nick appreciated the unique design and the engineering effort it reflected.
The Greenline 45 Fly has an aft cockpit layout, and a flybridge, which is equipped with solar panels in line with Greenline's focus on solar and electric energy.
There are unique feature on deck such as a side access door at the helm, teak walk decks with cutaways for better views from the windows, and pop-up lights.
Interior
Inside the yacht, the saloon has a galley-aft layout, with a fold-out bar area and a large window that lifts up. The saloon also has a big seating area and a sideboard for storage.
On the lower deck, the VIP cabin has large windows and an ensuite which can also be accessed from the third cabin - a feature highlighted as a smart design choice. Nick praised the third cabin's double bed, considering it an achievement on a 45-foot boat.
Moving on to the master cabin, the clever design has ensured good headroom here without making the boat too high. The ensuite has wonderful lighting and a rainfall shower. He also highlighted the large window with blinds for privacy.
Performance
The engine space houses a pair of Yanmar engines at 370 horsepower each. The Greenline 45 can come with diesal or hybrid engines.
