On Deck

The Palm Beach GT60 features a tender garage situated on the bathing platform and an aft-cockpit area, which features comfortable seating around a polished teak table. The table enables great versatility, as it can be lowered on telescopic legs to create a sunbathing area. The cockpit also has a sink, an icemaker, and storage for glasses and other items.

Throughout the deck areas there is a clean, stylish design and clever storage areas including for the anchor and anchor handling kit.

Interior

The interior of the yacht is very high quality, with cream coloured seating, glossy table and rich woodwork. The saloon area features seating opposite a TV that rises from a unit, and helm station. The Palm Beach GT60 is generally designed for an owner/operator, with features like drop-down panels for a sunroof and windows that create an open space, allowing for easy access to the side deck.

Below deck there is a two-cabin, two-head layout. The guest cabin offers ample storage, and the owner's cabin features a dressing area and plenty of drawer space for longer cruises. The ensuite bathrooms for both cabins have separate shower stalls.

The galley is well-equipped, featuring a hob, a Miele cooker, and plenty of storage. The yacht's attention to detail is apparent in the Palm Beach branded cutlery and the hidden washer/dryer that hinges forward.

Performance

The engine space, accessed under the aft-deck, impresses with its meticulous detailing, teak flooring and spaciousness. The yacht is powered by Volvo Penta's IPS-1350 engines, offering an impressive 42-knot top speed and a range of up to 600 miles at a cruising speed of 25 knots.

In Summary

Nick praises the GT60 for its suitability for short-handed boating and wonderful detailing.
