On Deck

The Pardo 43 features a hi-lo bathing platform at the stern, which allows for a tender to be stored and launched. The aft deck is designed as a social space, with walkways on either side. Stainless steel doors can be closed to secure the area. The seating arrangement is adaptable: cushions can be moved forward to extend the sunbathing space, or adjusted to function as headrests. The dining table expands from both sides and is height adjustable, allowing for conversion into another sunbathing area.

A retracting bimini is built into the hardtop, providing optional shade. The seating around the dining table is adjustable, allowing for different configurations. The table’s hi-lo legs enable it to be lowered for a more relaxed setting.

The bar area is well-equipped with a hob, sink, ice maker, fridge, bin, and storage for glasses or other items. The helm accommodates three people, with an option for additional passengers to face forward by repositioning backrests. This arrangement allows up to ten people to sit comfortably while the boat is at speed, making it a practical choice for a superyacht tender.

The helm station includes IPS controls for docking, engine controls, switchgear for lights and deck equipment, a multifunction display, Volvo Penta instrumentation, and a Fusion Stereo system. 

The bow features a large sunbathing area and an additional seat. The anchor winch is concealed within a step and extends at the push of a button. Small design details matter, such as cleats that lift and retract, stainless steel rub sections to prevent rope damage, and integrated speakers. Fender holders are included, with retractable fixtures that secure fenders without damaging the teak or gel coat.

Despite its primary function as a day boat, the Pardo 43 includes a well-appointed interior with accommodation for four. The open-plan space features a double bed in the bow, storage compartments, a hanging rail, shelving, and a TV. Ambient lighting is incorporated throughout. A sideboard provides additional storage for crockery and personal items. Access panels in the floor lead to engineering areas.

The heads compartment includes a separate rainfall shower, storage spaces, and a mirror. The interior layout balances comfort with practicality, making it a viable option for short stays.

Main Cabin

The forward section of the interior houses a double bed with built-in storage. Shelving, a hanging rail, and dedicated spaces for small personal items contribute to its functionality. The lighting is designed to create a comfortable ambiance, and a TV is installed for entertainment.

Guest Accommodation

A separate guest cabin is located aft, featuring two single beds and additional storage. Windows provide natural light and ventilation, contributing to a comfortable onboard experience. Drawers beneath the beds offer further storage solutions.

Access to the engine compartment is via a hatch in the deck. The Pardo 43 is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS 600 engines, each producing 440 horsepower. The boat reaches a top speed of approximately 36 knots and cruises comfortably at 30 knots. It can plane at 12 knots, which is impressive for its 10-tonne displacement.

The fuel range varies depending on speed: at high speed, it covers around 300 nautical miles, while reducing speed to 10 knots extends the range to approximately 500 nautical miles.

The engines are positioned forward with jackshafts extending to the IPS drives, optimizing weight distribution and handling. The engine bay also houses fuel tanks, a fire suppression system, a generator, and batteries.
