Mixing four excellent cabins with the option of an open, semi or fully-enclosed flybridge, the Sirena 78 yacht for sale is one of the most spacious and versatile cruisers in its class.
Adding to the yacht’s flexible nature, it can hit 26knots or cruise comfortably and for long distances at 10-12knots. The entire package can be largely credited to designer German Frers, responsible for the whole yacht, inside and out, as he is for most of the Sirena range.
But Sirena themselves are the real catalyst, delivering not only excellent build quality but also the uniquely engaging and award-winning take on motorboat culture that covers its entire range.
In the semi or fully-enclosed design, the 78’s version of the Sirena philosophy comes with a large open salon, unincumbered by a helm station, with the lounge aft and a huge forward dining and galley area. The cooking facilities can be delivered in an island or more traditional wraparound layout. The four cabins are all ensuite and accessed from a central stairwell off the salon.
The flybridge itself is more of a luxurious upper deck lounge with facing seating and space for a bar. Even in the enclosed version, things can be opened up with a sunroof and long electric side windows that drop at the touch of a button, plus there is still a very good aft deck open to the elements. The rest of the exterior is just as good with deep, wide, sheltered side decks and a superb forward lounge.
At 25m, the Sirena 78 sits on the divide between Owner and crew operation and will suit both roles very well, its aft crew quarters are a proper retreat for up to three people.
What sets this boat apart from the crowd, and the rest of the Sirena range, is the decision to offer the semi or fully-enclosed models with no lower helm. The idea is straightforward enough and will be very familiar to US and Australian boaters. The protected upper deck becomes your sole driving position and leaves the main deck free to spread out and create two excellent and defined lounge and dining areas.
The only notable difference between the semi and fully-enclosed versions is a set of cockpit doors between the lounge and deck that will allow you to fully climate-control the interior. And if you don’t want to be so enclosed, or lose the lower helm, there is an open flybridge version that lies beneath a conventional hardtop.
