The 48 was built in Britain by Sunseeker making full use of their in-house design team's expertise. The 16.17m/53'1" sportsboat constructed in GRP can sleep up to four guests across two cabins. She was available with a range of inboard engine options.
Development started in 2010 and the first model rolled off the production line in 2012.
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 28 knots via her twin 435hp Volvo Penta IPS600 engines. In terms of range, the Sunseeker 48 has a standard range of 300 nautical miles (nm).
