This sportfisher boat from American builder Viking Yachts is the entry level model from the Open Bridge range. The 44C is constructed from GRP with a planing hull design returning a top speed of 38 knots.

The Viking 44C has two cabins. For those considering buying a new Viking 44C, it can accommodate up to five guests and is designed for big game fishing and day fishing.

With the 44 Convertible, Viking delivers a tournament contender and luxurious two-stateroom cruising yacht designed and built with all the industry-leading technology, engineering, construction and accommodations of our larger sportfishers. The 44 C runs on the same proprietary surface as our 44 Open, giving her the high performance of a Viking express fishing boat and the stylish deckhouse, expansive salon and the grand accommodations of a Viking convertible. Twin 800-hp MAN diesels provide the standard power. With a pair of optional 1,000-hp Volvo Penta D13s, the boat tops out at 38-plus knots and cruises at 33 knots.

The starboard galley is two steps down. Our space-saving split-level design allows for a Corian countertop with two bar stools in the salon to increase seating and dining areas, while below, the galley is equipped with all the conveniences of a modern-day home.

The salon is large, air-conditioned and appointed with comfortable seating, dining and socializing areas. Relax in the L-shaped lounge to starboard with a teak hi-lo table. Forward to port is a raised dinette and settee against a teak bulkhead with cabinetry and a 40-inch flat-screen television.

The port-side master stateroom is inviting and comfortable with a queen-size walk-around bed with maple-lined stowage below, flanking night tables, carpeting, a maple-lined hanging locker, a 28-inch flat-screen television and stereo speakers. The forward stateroom has a double and a single berth in an over and under crossover arrangement. A second head and shower serve this stateroom.

You’ll have 119 square feet of battleground in a cockpit that’s armed with an arsenal of standard fishing equipment.

Like our larger convertibles, the flybridge includes a center console walk-around helm with electronics stowage, dual radio boxes and an optional teak raised helm pod.
