The first generation Westport Yachts Westport W172 was announced in 2019 and production ran for over 4 years. The second and latest generation Westport Yachts W172 was announced in 2024.
Performance
The latest generation can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 19 knots via its twin 2,682hp Caterpillar 3516E A02 engines. By comparison, the Gen 2 has comparable performance to its predecessor, with no difference between their cruising speeds.
